1 – Enhanced Text and Drop Feature

The Text and Drop feature allows for participants to text in responses that can then be dragged and dropped by the presenter onto an image or canvas area. It has been enhanced in ClassComm to allow for Image capture from a video source, annotation tools and spontaneous question features are available to allow for the creation of truly interactive lessons.

2 – Presentation Response Bar enhancement

The Presentation response bar has been enhanced to allow presenters to toggle the view between student name, student response and handset ID. This allows the presenter to gain instant feedback on individual responses during a presentation. The bar can also now be docked horizontally or vertically on the screen.

Dock the bar vertically to display names as list. As students enter their responses, the presenter can click on individual cells to display the response in real time.

3 – Pebble Pad Response System Integration

Support for our new Pebble Pad response system has been added.

4 – New Fire Engine Game

In the Presentation area of ClassComm, a new Fire Engine game has been added. ClassComm now has 6 games in total.

ClassComm and Cens-Us response software allows flexibility in formative & summative assessment with the ability for students to respond with yes or no, true or false ,alpha numeric, multiple choice and the full texting feature .The response software combines 3D games, formative and summative assessments reports with the unique Cens-Us toolbar, teachers and presenters can now interact with students or audience on an entirely new level. The New iQ-PAD with ClassComm and Cens-Us allows every student to gain greater confidence in the understanding of a subject and their abilities.

What is it

It is also known as interactive voting system, audience response systems, classroom response systems, student response system or interactive learning response system. It is a system through which group participation is promoted during brainstorming session, classroom teaching, debate, quiz or any other discussion. This system consists of a teacher handset, set of student handsets, one receiver (which uses radio frequency technology) and assessment software.

In an interactive classroom environment, the teacher asks a question from the class through his handset and then each student in the class replies back through there personal handsets. The assessment software catches the students' response through the receiver and then generates a report in the form of table, graph, pie chart etc. teacher removes the misconception of the student using the reports These reports can be displayed on an interactive whiteboard, plasma screen, LCD screen or on any projection surface. The teacher can control the way; the report should be displayed through his handset (i.e. the main handset). This system is generally used in schools, colleges and universities for quizzes, exams, tests etc.
